The college offers arts and commerce, with the following combinations.

Course of the study: The course of the study leading to Two Year Pre-University Examination shall comprise of Part I and Part II.

The candidate shall select under Part I any two of the following languages one of which should be an Indian language.

1) English       2) Kannada       3) Hindi       4) Sanskrit

1) Arts:

HEPS: History, Economics, Political Science, Sociology.
HEPK: History, Economics, Political Science, Optional kannada.

2) Commerce:

HEBA: History, Economics, Business studies, Accountancy.
MEBA: Basic maths, Economics, Business studies, Accountancy.
CEBA: Computer Science, Economics, Business studies, Accountancy.
PEBA: Political Science, Economics, Business studies, Accountancy.

REGULATIONS, COURSES OF STUDY AND SCHEME OF EXAMINATIONS :

1. Qualifications for admission to Two-Year Pre-University Course:
   Admission to the Karnataka Two-Year Pre-University Course shall be open to the candidates who have passed.
• The Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination.

OR

• Any other examinations recognized by the Board as equivalent to the Karnataka S.S.L.C for the purpose of admission to Two Year Pre-University course, provided that such candidate eligible for admission to the Pre-University or equivalent course in the course in the state in which the candidate has passed the qualifying examination.
2. Length of the Course: The course of study for the Two-Year Pre-University Course shall extend over a period of two academic years.



3. Medium of instruction and Examination: The medium of instruction will be in English. Candidates may at their option, answer the examination either in English or in Kannada, provided they indicate in their application the medium which they opt to answer for the examination.
